Kidz Konnekt Kidz Konnekt is a Children & Young Peoples Charity providing a range of Youth Services.

Kidz Konnekt is a Children and Young People's Charity in the North of England providing a range of Youth Services. We provide Youth Clubs for 8-18yrs of age, positive activities, school holiday programs, volunteering opportunities, work experience and vocational learning for young 13-24yrs of age. We provide a range of services for schools, youth groups and parents in sport, outdoor activities, music and team work.

🌟 Welcome Back, Youth Club! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome all our members back after the summer break! 💙

For this week we are open:

📅 Senior Youth Club – Wednesday, 5–7pm
📅 Junior Youth Club – Thursday, 5–7pm

We’re also excited to be launching our new Outdoor Clubs this week! 🌿🏕️

🌲 Senior Outdoor Club – Wednesday, 3:30–5pm
🌲 Junior Outdoor Club – Thursday, 3:30–5pm

This week is a great opportunity for young people to come along, find out more about what we’ll be getting up to in Outdoor Club this year, try out some of the activities, and see if it’s something they’d be interested in joining! 🙌

We can’t wait to see everyone back and ready for another great year! 💚

Younng people all participated in sports day, they worked as a team and encouraged each other in their races. Young people all learnt great sportsmanship today and congratulated each other as winners!!

🏏 Today we welcomed 3 new faces to Kidz Konnekt and started our day off with a game of rounders. Young people developed their fitness and teamwork skills

,⚽️ Young people designed their own football and baseball challenges. We also checked on the allotment, caught some grasshopers, resucued a moth and had many laughs through out the day.

🧗‍♂️ Today we have had perfect weather for a day of climbing. Young people chose which walls they wanted to climb, listened to the safety brief and encouraged each other to try their hardest...

⚽️ We have also played some football challenges, football golf, pool, built den forts and made cards for the police officers who tragically passed away on Saturday...

🌿 Today consisted of a visit to Preston Park to complete a scavenger hunt looking for insects, different types of leaves and wild mushrooms...

🦋 We also visited Butterfly World, we learnt facts about the different species of butterflys, we seen some monkeys, koi carp and meerkats...

👧👦 Today has been all about developing friendships and we have some lovely friendships forming...

🍫 We made a treat of rocky road cakes to take home with us, we have had a pool tournament, air hockey tournaments and a game of football.

🎒 We have had some great conversations about returning to school, what young people are looking to and way to tackle the first day of school nerves.

A wholesome day had by all ❤️

🌤 We have been so busy making memories with our young people we haven`t posted...

🤣 The fun hasn`t stopped at Kidz Konnent

⚽️ We have played football golf, built dens, visited Saltburn and Guisbrough Woods, we made healthy pancakes using only bananas and eggs and played a music quiz using the our date of births (harder than it sounds)

🥕We have been harvesting our allotment of the vegetables we have been growing and trying them each week.
