🦆🎉What an amazing day at the Duck Race! 🦆🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our school — whether you raced a duck, helped organise, volunteered, baked amazing cakes, or simply cheered from the sidelines. The atmosphere was incredible, and it was so lovely to see our community come together.

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the time, effort, and support from so many people. We’re so grateful to each and every one of you for helping make today such a success.

We hope you had a fantastic day!

A quick reminder for anyone kindly donating cakes for the Duck Race tomorrow — please bring your donations to the village green by 12 noon.

Join us for a fun-filled day at Melsonby School’s Duck Race this Sunday 17th May! 🎉

🕛 12pm – Picnic on the Green
🕜 1:30pm – School opens for last-minute duck sales
🕑 2pm – Duck Race starts outside school
🕝 2:30pm – Sprint race & ice cream
