Melksham Lions Club were proud to support the Melksham Cricket Club Presentation night on 10th October
We again sponsored the Under 10s Young personality of the year.
The winner being Willow Hunt 🏏
The club citation;
“This young person is part of our newly formed Mini Mavericks team, and she’s already proving to be fearless behind the stumps as one of their wicket keepers! 🧤👏
Her personality shines right across the club, from fist bumps and high fives with members of all generations to bringing smiles wherever she goes. 🙌💙
She’s also never shy to lend a hand with cone correction into colour order (something that’s absolutely vital for a few of our coaches who can be a little OCD (Debs)… 🥴😂).
And when it comes to helping out behind the scenes, she’s quick to lend a hand there too — keeping the ice cream stock in order and absolutely smashing the cardboard boxes! 📦🍦💪
Fearless on the pitch, full of personality around the club, and always happy to help out — she’s a great addition to our Mini Mavericks family! 💙🏏”
