🎃 Pumpkin Painting Fun at Brookside! 🎨

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon yesterday getting creative with some pumpkin painting!

There were lots of different designs, plenty of laughter and some fantastic creations along the way. A wonderful afternoon of autumn fun! 🍂

Last week, we celebrated our lovely resident Paul’s birthday at Brookside! 💙

Paul enjoyed some delicious birthday cake and received lots of puzzle gifts to keep him busy. 🧩 🥰

🎶 A Musical Weekend at Brookside! 🎶

We had a lovely weekend at Brookside enjoying a visit from the wonderful Chico! 🎤

Chico always brings so much fun and energy, singing absolute classics and getting our residents singing along and joining in. It’s always a pleasure to welcome him back! 🎵

Yesterday, we celebrated the birthdays of two of our wonderful residents, Mary and Francis! ❤️

They enjoyed some lovely singing, plenty of smiles and, of course, their delicious birthday cakes. 🎶 🍰

Aline is a wonderful housekeeper who takes great pride in her work, always going the extra mile to keep Brookside looking beautiful. She is also always ready to support her colleagues and her team.

🦉 A special visit to Brookside! 🦅

Our residents had a wonderful afternoon welcoming Wrens Birds of Prey to Brookside!

We were lucky enough to meet two beautiful owls and a falcon, with some of our residents even getting the chance to hold the little owl.

It was a truly memorable afternoon, enjoyed by everyone! 🦉 ❤️

We recently had a wonderful visit from the lovely Neil Patterson, who entertained our residents with a fantastic performance.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the music and had a lovely time singing along and enjoying the afternoon. A big thank you to Neil for bringing so much joy to Brookside! ❤️

🍔 A tasty way to round off Professional Carers Week at Brookside! 🍔

We celebrated National Cheeseburger Day with quite the feast for our wonderful team. A huge thank you to The Kebabs & Pizza for providing the delicious burgers — they certainly went down a treat!

A well-deserved treat for our fantastic carers! 🙌

🐾 A Special Visit from Maisy! 🐾

Brookside had a very special visitor recently, the lovely therapy dog Maisy! 🐶

Maisy took the time to greet each of our residents, bringing plenty of wagging tails, cuddles and, most importantly, lots of smiles all around!

Pet therapy has a wonderfully positive impact on wellbeing. Spending time with animals can provide comfort and companionship, encourage social interaction, reduce feelings of stress and loneliness, and create moments of happiness and connection.🐾

It was lovely to see the joy Maisy brought to our residents, and we’re already excited to be seeing her more often in the future!

Thank you, Maisy, for making our day so much brighter!🐶
