This week marks the close of the Masonic season for Burke Lodge No. 6154—a fitting time to reflect on the journey we’ve shared.
It has been a year of meaningful moments: we began with the well-deserved promotion of our Secretary, W. Bro. Mark Harry, to Provincial Junior Grand Warden, followed by the joy of welcoming two new brethren through a double initiation.
One of the year’s highlights was our Banner Dedication Ceremony—an event not seen in 80 years since the Lodge’s consecration. We concluded the season with a warm and memorable Second Degree passing.
This year was not without sorrow, the sad loss of W. Bro. Bob Howe, a dedicated and long-standing member whose presence will be deeply missed. He remains forever in our hearts.
To all our friends and visitors—thank you for your continued support. Our doors remain open, and we invite all brethren seeking fellowship and tradition to join us. Simply reach out at [email protected]
Looking ahead, we prepare to pass the gavel to our Master Elect, Bro. Toby Philips, who will take on the role of Worshipful Master, following three years of dedicated leadership from W. Bro. David Boatin.
Freemasonry thrives in Buckinghamshire and our members look forward to supporting the provincial planned events, Bring a Friend, the Football Lodge Consecration and the Big Local.
Stay tuned for more updates as we begin the next chapter in the life of our Lodge.
