Jenny Simnett, Mayor of Marlow would like to sincerely thank the team at The Two Brewers Marlow for hosting a fantastic pub quiz last night in support of the Mayor's charity Dementia Action Marlow. The Mayor would also like to thank everyone who came along and took part and helped to raise £515 for the charity.

Come and join us at The Chequers on Wednesday evening for a Pub Quiz to support DAM - our lovely mayor’s chosen charity of the year!

Teams of up to 6 people, £5 per person, plus a raffle with some great prizes including a £50 voucher to spend at The Chequers.

Cash only for the quiz and raffle - cards fine for drinks and food.

Joseph Price completed his Ultra Marathon in the Lake District at the weekend- 100k within 24 hrs!!

We are absolutely delighted that our new Mayor of Marlow has chosen DAM to be her charity of the year. To have the services and support that we offer local dementia sufferers and their families recognised by her, means such a lot, and will hopefully help spread the word even further within our community.

Joe Price is a wonderful young man whose mum is suffering with dementia. He is running an ULTRA MARATHON to raise money for us - recognising the support we provide locally for people and their families affected by this very cruel disease.
