Last Tuesday our members enjoyed our annual Sam’s quiz night. We had a great turnout including new members that have decided to join. We had 6 teams and the top 3 teams enjoyed chocolates as their wining prizes. Thanks to Sam for being our quiz master and making the time to make the questions

This week is NFYFC week and we come together to remember Danny our past club & county chairman, much loved & missed friend ❤️
Over the summer a group of club members, family and friends have been covering miles to raise money for Mind, a charity that raises awareness and offers support to anyone struggling with their mental health. We’ve now reached our target of 5728 miles and would be extremely grateful of any final donations & shares

See what our 2026/27 top table have to say about yfc as part of NFYFC week 💭

National Young Farmers Week 🌱

⭐️ Top Table Introduction ⭐️

Next up, we have Ashley YFC! Take a look at their new Top Table and get to know a little bit more about them and their YFC journey.

Chairman – Will
Will has been involved in Young Farmers for 10 years. His favourite competition is the Rally, as it’s a great opportunity to see everyone’s hard work come together. This year, the club is hoping to bring the Rally Trophy back to Ashley for the 5th year in a row!

Secretary – Amelia
Amelia has been in Young Farmers for 5 years. One of her greatest achievements has been taking part in the Tug of War competitions. She’s looking forward to another great year for Ashley, hopefully seeing members represent the club at Nationals again and getting even more younger members involved with the club.

Treasurer – Charlotte
Charlotte has been in Young Farmers for 9 years. One of the best things about YFC for her is the lifelong friendships you make within your club, across the county and with members from other counties. She also loves the wide variety of opportunities YFC provides, saying that you get out as much as you put in — and she would strongly encourage anyone thinking about joining to give it a go. You won’t regret it!

A huge thank you to Ashley YFC for getting involved in National Young Farmers Week 2026 and sharing what YFC means to them. 💚

There’s only one Dave Hem!! 🙌🏼🥳 Well done Dave, so deserved 👏🏼 Good luck from everyone in Ashley!

🏆💙 NATIONAL YFC WEEK – CELEBRATING OUR SUPPORTERS 💙🏆

This year's National YFC Week theme is BELONGING, and we couldn't let the week go by without celebrating someone who has been part of Staffordshire YFC for decades!

👏 Congratulations to Dave, who has been nominated for Supporter of the Year at this year's YFC Achiever Awards!
Dave first joined Staffordshire Young Farmers back in the 1980s and is now one of our County Trustees – so he's certainly been around the YFC block a few times! 😂

For anyone who knows Dave, you'll know he's very much the man for everything...
💻 Problem with IT? Ask Dave.
⛺ Problem with a marquee? Ask Dave.
🤔 General YFC advice or a random query? Dave will probably know!

Staffordshire YFC would genuinely be a little bit lost without him, and we're incredibly proud to have him as part of our county team. 💙

Dave says:
“Hi, I'm Dave from Staffordshire Young Farmers. I first joined Staffordshire Young Farmers back in the 80s, and am now one of Staffordshire's County Trustees. I was recently very surprised and pleased to be nominated for Supporter of the Year at the upcoming YFC Awards, which reflects the team I work with in Staffordshire.”

Being part of YFC is about more than just the competitions, meetings and events – it's about the people, the friendships and knowing you have a place where you belong. 🌾💙
And Dave has certainly played his part in making Staffordshire YFC feel like that for generations of members.

Good luck Dave – a very well-deserved nomination! 👏🏆
