Thank you to everyone who has sponsored a display so far this year; we have been overwhelmed by the response.

There are a couple of weeks left to register your interest.

Pole displays are available at £25 each.

We have one large display left (£50)… the wonderful Christmas Train Display outside of the school is still available if anyone would like to put their name to it this year.
It was a new edition for 2025 and certainly a very popular one.

PM our page if interested.

🎄✨ Christmas Lights Update 2026 ✨🎄

What a fantastic first weekend of preparations for this year's Christmas Light Display! Despite the windy weather today!

✅ Most pole displays have now been sited✅ Most of the larger displays have been built✅ String lights are over halfway installed

You may even spot a few new displays starting to appear 😀!!

A huge thank you to all the committee & volunteers who gave up their time this weekend to help. Your hard work and community spirit are what make this display possible each year.

Thank you to Rishi from the One Stop for keeping us refreshed. A very kind gesture; much appreciated.

There's still plenty of work to do over the coming weeks, with more installations to complete and all the lights needing to be tested before the big day.

📅 The Christmas Lights Switch-On will take place on Saturday 21st November, and we're looking forward to making this year's display bigger and brighter than ever.

Thank you to everyone who has donated towards this years display; our Justgiving donations page is now open for any online donations …

It’s been an exciting week for Doddington Christmas Lights as we have taken delivery of some new Christmas displays for the 2026 season, and after another year of hard work plans are already starting to come together.

We can't wait to create another festive experience in the village. With this in mind we will be building this years display on the weekend of the 24th/25th October.

We require some helpers particularly on the Saturday to help site the pole displays around the village. If you can spare a few hours in the morning please private message our page so we can plan ahead of this weekend.

Any help would be very much appreciated 😀

🎄✨ Doddington Christmas Lights is delighted to be taking part in the Celebration of Harvest, Flowers & Community at St Mary's Church this weekend.

It’s wonderful to join so many local organisations in showcasing the incredible community spirit that makes Doddington such a special place. Our festive display is already helping to spread a little Christmas magic among the beautiful harvest and floral exhibits.

If you're visiting the church over the weekend, be sure to take a look and enjoy everything this fantastic community event has to offer.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a lovely celebration. 🎄🌾🌻
