7th Malvern Brownies have been having fun decorating their tins for their practice piece of paracord. The Brownies have been learning some useful knots, such as the reef knot and bowline!

2nd Malvern Link Brownies and 1st Malvern Rainbows had an informative night with SARA speaking about Water Safety & Water Rescues and even throwing lines! 💧

2nd Malvern Link Brownies & 1st Malvern Rainbows were found looking at “Art in Nature” on their adventure to St Wulstans Nature Reserve this week!
We’re glad the rain held off for them!

A fabulous turn out at Blackmore last week when the Malvern & Upton Brownies came together for a “Brownie Revels” - games, vegetable people and s’mores were enjoyed by all! Thank you to our Brownie Leader for organising and for all Brownie Leaders for their support in running it! Thankfully the rain stayed away!

Code breaking takes many forms. Our Guides have tried to decode what the pictures of old Guide badges meant. Our leaders are fairly certain that the badges pre-date some of their own suggestions!!
Quidditch badge, anyone?

Jumble sale at Somers Park Ave methodist Church Hall. Friday 22nd of May from 6 pm to 8 pm. 1980s theme there will be a DJ playing 80s songs and music. The Guides will be dressed up in 1980s uniforms will be selling cakes plants children and adult adult adults clothes, children’s toys and books and general stuff in the usual jumble sales style. This is a great opportunity for the Guides to get some experience doing fundraising and we hope lots of our Guiding family and friends will come along to join us for the fun and excitement of going back to the 80s.

Here are the judging results for Malvern Well Dressing 2026.
Thank you to everyone involved. It has been an incredible display of the talents, dedication and hard work from everyone.
The standard was very high and the judges, as usual had a difficult task scoring them all.
If you can please come along to Belle Vue Island in Great Malvern on Monday 4th May from 2pm to receive your certificate. It would be great to see you. If you are unable to get there, they will be at The Malvern Tourist Information Centre from midweek.

2nd Upton Brownies had a fantastic time making and decorating pancakes! Working in their sixes, they prepared their own batter and each had a turn cooking in the kitchen. They then added 2 twists, choosing toppings like chocolate spread, Biscoff, lemon and sugar, and fresh fruit.
They all achieved their Kitchen Creations badge 👏
