SETTING UP BUSINESS FOR SPONSORED FAMILIES
A SAFER FUTURE FOR FAMILIES – The story of Mallas Protectoras en Peru (Safety Nets in Peru)
Sometimes, a single tool can open the door to a better future.
For Xismar and Kevin Chacón, owners of Mallas Protectoras en Peru, their small business is about much more than earning an income. It is about protecting families, creating safer homes, and building a better future for their own family.
Mallas Protectoras en Peru specialises in installing strong safety nets designed to protect children, pets, and older adults from accidents. They install nets in windows, balconies, stairways, terraces, swimming pools, and other areas where a fall or accident could happen.
Their work may seem simple, but behind every safety net is a family placing their trust in them — a parent wanting to keep their child safe, a family protecting elderly loved one, or a pet owner creating a safer home for their beloved animal.
To carry out this important work, Xismar and Kevin needed the right equipment. That is where Heavenly Encounters Charity was able to make a difference.
Heavenly Encounters donated a high-powered hammer drill to Mallas Protectoras en Peru. This may sound like a small thing, but for a small business, having the right equipment can make an enormous difference. The drill allows Xismar and Kevin to work more efficiently and accurately when perforating concrete, aluminum, and wood, and when securely installing the hooks and fixings needed for their safety nets.
With this equipment, they can do their work better, serve more customers, and continue growing their business.
Most importantly, this support helps create an opportunity for Xismar and Kevin to provide a more secure and sustainable future for their family.
Their story reminds us that charity is not always about giving someone everything they need. Sometimes, it is about providing that one important piece of equipment that helps someone stand on their own feet, work with dignity, and build something of their own.
Xismar and Kevin shared their heartfelt thanks:
“We thank Heavenly Encounters for their generous donation. This support will help us strengthen and improve our business and, in that way, provide for the wellbeing of our families.”
At Heavenly Encounters, we are proud to walk alongside small business owners like Xismar and Kevin. Their determination, hard work, and desire to build a better life are an inspiration.
One donation. One opportunity. One family moving forward.
And through Mallas Protectoras en Peru, that opportunity is also helping make homes and communities safer for many other families.
