Good Bye Kay our Yorda Fundraising Superstar! We are going to miss you so much and we are so grateful for everything you’ve done over the last 3.5yrs! Good luck in your new adventures in your new role - they are very lucky to have you. We look forward to seeing you back at the playhouse in other ways as you will always be part of our yorda family!

It was a wonderful day at the Farmers Market on June 20th and we were very happy to see so many supporters come down and visit us. As we were nominated as Charity of the Month we received £500, huge thanks to Natasha and the team at Surbiton Farmers' Market for this generous donation and for giving us a spot at the market again, our stall raised £150 from selling some small items and facepainting, so a very successful day all round. Thank you to Zia, Cuba, Steph, Dani and Rosie for managing all the logistics and a special thanks to our lovely volunteers Lauren Freeman, Richard Strickland, Claire and Paul Charlton for coming down to man the stall. And special thanks to Gracie Freeman for being our youngest helper!

And to all the families from Yorda who came to support. What a wonderful morning!

Lots of our regular staff are returning from Uni for the summer and can't wait to see you at the Playhouse!!

On 28th June, Kate and Raea from Verlingue (our Corporate supporter for this year), will be lacing up their trainers and taking on a fantastic challenge to raise funds for us at the Gloucester 10K!

What an incredible weekend! 🚴‍♀️

We’re absolutely delighted to share that our five amazing cyclists have completed their challenge from London to Land’s End and, thanks to the generosity of so many supporters, have raised an incredible £4,459 for us!

Every donation, message of encouragement, share, and cheer along the way helped make this achievement possible.

To our fantastic cyclists: thank you for your determination and commitment and for raising such an incredible amount.

And to everyone who donated and supported the challenge, thank you. Your generosity will help more children and young people access adventure, build confidence, develop independence, and create lasting memories.
