We’re going to be releasing a short documentary which is part of a wider heritage project to preserve and document Hip Hop Culture in Harrow. We will be screening it on 30th May as part of a small community jam we are organising with at the

Our aim of the documentary is to demonstrate the transformative power Hip Hop Culture can have on uplifting young people and sharing the stories of individuals based in Harrow from the 1980s to the present day who have been influenced by it.

Every Person Is Capable (EPIC) was founded in Harrow as a direct influence of Hip Hop Culture and the values it can share with an individual.

Special thanks to all those featured in this documentary:

Disclosure: There are many other individuals who had a significant impact on the history of Hip Hop in Harrow but unfortunately they could not be reached to be filmed as part of this documentary. We want to extend our appreciation and recognition to those individuals.

2025 had been a real positive year for several reasons, this EPIC Earth project in India was definitely one of them. We’ve been working in partnership with officially since mid 2024 to launch a Hip Hop Education Programme in Dharavi, India’s biggest slum. It’s based on teaching both basic education and Hip Hop 6 days a week to youth that don’t get the same opportunities. We launched a Go Fund me to raise funds for the project, thank you to everyone who had donated ❤️💛 DM us if you want for information to support this.

Officially we’ve now been funding the project since December 2025 and it’s been making a clear difference on the ground. At the core of this project, it shares the same mission and philosophy as us in terms uplifting the community as well as giving people the tools to uplift themselves through Hip Hop & Education.

Please follow them and watch this space for more updates, 2026 will be another great year for our joint project.

The EPIC Earth (Kenya) project hosted a three day cultural exchange Hip Hop festival called in Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪 (October 2025). At the core of this project, our aim was to focus on using Hip Hop Culture as a tool to uplift communities, provide emerging artists (across all generations) an opportunity to express themselves and to build capacity for cross collaboration.

The festival core joint partnership was with with collaborations between various organisations including .of.a.can .twende.trust

Prior to the Keep On Movin festival, we delivered workshops in three main communities with and as an artistic exchange and knowledge sharing session.

We would like to thank all the volunteers, organisers, artists, community venues, sponsors for truly being part of this project. It was heartfelt and we all played our part in building something that was meaningful as a cultural exchange, uplifting each other and to inspiring change with how communities are sustained.

We’ve been on an EPIC Journey over the past few months with our Stories Of Harrow project.

This project is exploring the Preservation and Documentation of Hip Hop Culture/Heritage in Harrow from the 1980s to the present day with the aim to uplift vulnerable young people in the borough as well as create a platform for those individuals involved in the culture to share their story.

We’re going to be :

✅Creating a Documentary with individuals from all generations in Hip Hop from Harrow including .perle

✅Exhibition at as part of the wider Stories Of Harrow projects

✅Community Hip Hop Jam with individuals in the documentary and others from the borough at in June 2026

We want to thank for supporting this important project for achieving this heritage and sharing these stories for future generations to be inspired and keep the culture thriving in Harrow.

Special thanks to .perle from the EPIC Family in supporting this project and for capturing it.

Our next highlight is the which we’ve been organising jointly with , this was our 5 year anniversary of running the jam. We organised one in May 2025 at the and the second in November 2025 at - we always artists travelling over from different parts of the world to attend this jam. It’s a real community affair and represents part of the Hip Hop Community.

Every jam we are joined by the EPIC who bring live music and a great energy!

As part of jam we also delivered a 5 week programme to a group of vulnerable young people. In May, from the EPIC Family delivered a dance programme where they then performed at the jam (see the last photo)

In November, delivered a programme to a group of young girls at exploring graffiti, rap and music production. They also wrote and recorded their own track!

These workshops were focused to increase wellbeing, confidence and remove barriers to participation, giving them a chance to experience Hip Hop culture and new activities.

We’re going to be sharing our top 5 moments from 2025 starting with our 6 week EPIC Expression project at Harrow College that was supported by .

Working with a group of 25 young people (from ESOL), the first 3 weeks were spent exploring identity through graffiti looking at creating theirs own tags, characters and learning how to draw them on paper before hitting the walls. The last 3 weeks, we got outside with the spray cans where students created their own graffiti pieces in groups where they selected the word and colours they connected to.

87% of the young people experienced an improvement to their mental wellbeing

We want to give a big shout out to .perle from the EPIC Family who had been facilitating the programme. He’s an experienced practitioner and created a safe space for the young people.
