Annandale Community Transport Services Welcome to Annandale Community Transport Services. We operate a community transport service in Annandale and Eskdale in South West Scotland.

Annandale Community Transport Services (formerly Annandale Transport Initiative) is a membership organisation serving the residents of Annandale and Eskdale. We provide accessible, affordable minibus hire for community groups and community car hire for individuals whose transport needs are not met by public transport. We can offer vehicles that are suitable for those travelling in wheelchairs. We

also run 2 registered bus services, one to Peebles on the last Thursday of each month, and one to Carlisle on the first and third Thursday of each month. A programme of day trips is also provided - these are reasonably priced and most return by 6pm. You can book on to these through our ACTS Travel club (annual membership of £5) Volunteer drivers are available for those members who do not have their own trained driver. Annandale Community Transport Services can deliver nationally recognised minibus driver training. ACTS is a charity and a company limited by guarantee.

Whether you're helping behind the scenes, guiding the organisation as a Board member, or providing vital transport as one of our drivers, your contribution is truly invaluable.

ACTS simply could not operate the service we provide without your commitment, hard work, and generosity. You are at the heart of everything we do, and we are incredibly grateful for all that you give.
This Volunteers' Week, we celebrate and thank each and every one of you for the difference you make every day.

We’re delighted to share that Annandale Community Transport Services (ACTS) took delivery this morning of a brand new electric 8-seat Mercedes Vito 🚐⚡

Pictured here with Barry from GM Coachworks and our Vice Chair, Erik Jensen, this fantastic addition to our fleet has been made possible thanks to the generous funding from Plugged in Communities and EweHill 16.

This new vehicle will help us continue supporting and connecting our local community in a more sustainable way. Keep an eye out for it around the region soon!

This service has been delayed this morning due to a technical issue with the vehicle, a replacement vehicle is on the way to Annan and will be in situ for the 9:46 departure from Annan Bus Station.
