⚡ Flashback Friday⚡
This week our club kids have been mostly indoors due to the weather.

We definitely used our fine motor skills over all activities this week, from miniature play worlds, block building and construction, nail art, to building an Igloo in the rain outside.

The kids have also started to decorate stones to be displayed in our back garden area.
We're hoping this will brighten up our outdoor area as the winter months descend.

And a big thank you to Chez McLardy from the kids, for the delicious homemade Banana bread for snack on Thursday. 🧑🏼‍🍳💋

It's ⚡ Flashback Friday⚡!!!
Here's what we've been up to this week.....

Children and FF staff have been discussing our club charter and "about me" booklets this week.
Some of the children have suggested some very impressive values for all of us to follow, more on that in a couple of weeks.

A couple of interesting nature finds on our walk from campus to club. 🐛🦋
We found a very cute elephant hawk moth caterpillar, which was returned to a nice bush to pupate in peace.

Much to the hilarity of the children, we have now discovered that the very invasive Himalayan Balsam plant can shoot/pop it's seeds upto 7 meters away!!! Think we'll need to do a bit of weeding before it takes over our path. 🍃🌷

Play time was split between outdoor and indoor, more tent building, hot wheels, village shop sweets and treats, and our dolls got a well deserved and much needed makeover. We even had a fashion show competition. ⛺🏪🍨👗🏎️

Starting next week we will be showcasing our week on a Friday.

⚡Flashback Friday⚡will include what our club kids have been up to and all the magic moments they've been a part of.

Last week was back to school, we felt a gentle return with free play was the way to go.

Board games and role play were very popular, with the children working together in groups, or individually, coming up with strategies for building the perfect skate ramp, the craziest race track to creating the perfect cafe menu.

Is it just us, or did the summer holidays go in a flash?

Hope everyone had a lovely break.

Our club kids had a fun packed two weeks of outdoor and indoor activities over the holidays.

From trips to the beach, bouncy castle, face painting, circus skills, picnics and mini highland games!!!

Big shout out and thanks to Funkychickenfun and Argyll Event Hire for putting the biggest grins on all our faces (staff included).

So much fun, wish we could do this every week. 🥳🤡🎊🎈

Apologies for the late update.

We would like to thank all our families, friends and especially the children, for all your support with our fundraiser last month.

Funds raised were split between our hosts Lochside and ourselves, LASC. Raising £246.50 for each organisation. 🥰

We plan to use this towards improving our outside area for the children and renewing some of their favourite toys and activities within the club.

Hope you enjoyed the day and hope to see you all again at future events.
