Manager £40,230 pa, pro rata
Join us in supporting unpaid adult carers in Argyll. We give emotional support, signposting to services, a caring, listening ear, a range of support groups, and holistic therapies.
We are a small team of 15 people passionate about supporting carers: we try to make opportunities for fun and laughter.
Manager’s role: 25 hours a week, hybrid, flexible working policy, discuss at interview
• Work with Board, planning future direction.
• Manage: Admin, Team Leader of support teams, and oversee Counselling.
• Fundraising – Raise 30% of our costs each year
• Work with Treasurer on finance and budgets.
• Operational management of Dochas centre in Lochgilphead.
• Review and develop strategic documents and operating plans.
Looking for:
• Experience of staff management
• Degree level or equivalent qualification preferred
● Proficiency in all Microsoft programmes
● Project-management skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills

As a charity in Lochgilphead we provide services to unpaid carers throughout Mid Argyll, Kintyre, Islay, Jura and Gigha.
Admin Worker – Lochgilphead, £13.48 per hr, 3 days (Wed – Fri, flexible hours) 18 hours per week.
Working in our Hub in Lochgilphead, you will be supporting the Manager in the general operation of the service, maintaining systems, inputting data and carrying out day to day management of finance systems including payroll.
Organise and co-ordinate repairs and maintenance of the building and maintain health and safety records.
Have you:
• Proven experience in administrative roles within a busy office environment, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong familiarity with digital systems and software, able to adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.
• Great organisational skills, a track record of effectively managing a diverse and often competing workload while meeting deadlines.

It's 'demistifying death week' and our Death Cafe is happening on Tuesday evening this week. We will have a humanist celebrant joining us alongside tea, cake and open and compassionate conversation.
