Hwb Cymunedol Pengwern Llangollen Community Hub Denbighshire County Council has secured funding for a Pengwern community project “ Working Together for the future of Pengwern Community”.

Pengwern Hub Llangollen is a Denbighshire Owned site, managed by South Denbighshire Community Partnership to provide and develop community social and wellbeing opportunities for the residents of Llangollen The National Lottery -Rural Futures funding, which is being match funded by Denbighshire County Council, will focus on making a positive impact within the community of Pengwern and Llangollen by

developing Pengwern Community centre into a Community hub space that meets the needs and aspirations of the Pengwern community
The funding secured will allow Denbighshire County Council, working with partners South Denbighshire Community Partnership to develop the facilities at Pengwern Community Centre, to create an enhanced community hub space to deliver services and activities that will address the needs and overall wellbeing of the community. South Denbighshire Community Partnership (SDCP) has employed a part-time project coordinator to the project, to initially consult with the community so that everyone has the opportunity to have their say and share their thoughts of what services and activities are most important to them, their families, and their community.
