Due to forecasted high winds this evening, we will not be conducting Summer Afloat activity at Sea Cadets Crosby Boat Station this evening.

All Cadets and CFAVs are requested to attend our Field Lane HQ from the normal Parade time of 1915.

Any Cadets in the Paddling or Rowing groups will have the opportunity to get afloat on the canal, so paddlers are requested to arrive in boating gear with their uniform as their change of clothes please.

Normal pick up time of 2130 applies tonight.

Thank you

For Volunteers’ Week 2026, we’d like to say thank you to all our incredible volunteers.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, commitment and passion you give to Sea Cadets every week.

Whether you’re instructing, supporting your unit behind the scenes, or helping cadets take part in new opportunities, you are making a real and lasting difference to young people’s lives.

As one parent shared recently, “it’s helped bring out the best in my children - we’re very grateful.”

On behalf of our cadets, thank you for your dedication, time and inspiration 💙

We’d love it if you could support our Unit President’s epic abseil challenge, for an excellent cause!

We’d love it if you could support our Unit President’s epic abseil challenge, for an excellent cause!

🧗‍♂️ Taking fundraising to new heights!

Brigadier Ged Salzano MBE, Commander Royal Navy Cadet Forces, is set to abseil down the iconic Spinnaker Tower in support of the Royal Marines Experience Museum on Saturday 13 June!

This incredible challenge will help raise funds for the future museum, preserving and sharing the proud history, heritage and stories of the Royal Marines for generations to come.

If you’re able to support this fantastic cause, donations can be made via the link in the comments.

Good luck Sir! 💪⚓

At Sea Cadets Sefton, we’re incredibly proud of our Senior Cadets and Young Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.

They are motivated, hardworking, community-minded young people who give their time to support others, develop leadership skills, and build brighter futures for themselves and those around them.
We’re now looking to build stronger links with local businesses and organisations who may be able to support them through:

⚓ Apprenticeship opportunities
⚓ Part-time employment that fits around studies and volunteering
⚓ Work experience placements
⚓ Mentoring and career development opportunities

For many young people, all it takes is someone willing to open a door, offer an opportunity, or believe in their potential.

If your company could help in any way - or if you’d simply like to start a conversation - we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to us at: [email protected]

Together, we can help shape confident, skilled and employable young adults for the future.
Please contact us directly via message or email to discuss opportunities.
