We are delighted to congratulate David on becoming the new Mayor of Liskeard.

David's appointment is a fitting recognition of his dedication to our town, his commitment to public service, and the countless hours he has devoted to supporting the local community. As a proud and active member of the Lions Club, David has consistently demonstrated the values of service, friendship, and community spirit, making a positive difference to the lives of so many people.

We wish David every success as he embarks on this exciting new chapter and look forward to seeing him represent and champion Liskeard throughout his mayoral year.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Christina for her outstanding service as Mayor. Her hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment to the town have been greatly appreciated, and we thank her for everything she has achieved during her tenure.

The Lions can do many things, but sadly we can’t run a carnival on tea, biscuits, and sheer determination alone! πŸ¦β˜•πŸͺ

We’re looking for volunteers to help make this year’s carnival a roaring success β€” from road marshals to general helpers, every extra pair of hands makes a massive difference.

No special skills required…
