Work in Progress Wednesday

How is it November already? It's definitely getting colder (and wet) which has slowed down my use of the varnish spray, but it hasn't slowed down other progress. We start this week with Stephen and his wonderful scratchbuilt Quar flyer. Sadly there aren't any rules for flyers in Clash of Rhyfles yet, but when there are Stephen will be taking to the air....

Welcome to another Wednesday, and there is no shortage of progress this week. We start with Chris St who has made progress on his late romans, both more infantry and cavalry. Work in Progress Wednesday

It's Wednesday again and this week we start of big and end with a collection of odds and sods. We start with an impressive looking Mars station from Marcus W. Work in Progress Wednesday

It's a windy Wednesday this week, but enough about the weather, we start with Andy who has finished painting his sci-fi german power armour. Both the standard troops and the heavy weapons. Next up and Chris St has made a start on some Late Roman cavalry to support the infantry we saw last week. Dropping down scale or two and Stephen has started a new project with 15mm dark age unit bases....

Society Meeting 10/10/2026

Andy rounds up last weekend’s Society meeting. This week, let’s go in increasing order of model size. First up Peter put on a 2mm Ancients game using Strength & Honour rules, Rome vs the Germanic Hordes. Staying in the Ancient world, but going up in size we have a mixed 6mm vs 15mm Field of Glory game between Hellenistic Greeks (6mm) and Carthaginians (15mm)....

Work in Progress Wednesday

It's Wednesday and there's been more progress! We start this week with Chris St and some 15mm Ancient Greeks. Chris got these of Ebay and has been sprucing them up and adding some decals to the shields. moving onto more modern times and Chris has also been painting up some 28mm Late Romans. Off to the unknown now and Stephen has finished his King in Yellow plus minions....

Happy Wednesday everyone, we kick off this week with a whole host of townsfolk from Kim for Guards of Traitor's Toll. We cannot wait to see the whole town. Next up and Mark J has some WW2 Brits on the painting desk. Armed with a number of Piats these are destined for Arnhem. Speaking of which Mark has also got some more buildings painted up for that very town....

Work in Progress Wednesday

It's Wednesday so here we go again with progress from our members. We start this week with Mark J and another building for his Arnhem project, there will be lots more about that in the coming months.
