This kills me honestly 💔

Summer messaged me at 3am about a Greyhound in a slaughter house.The dogs are either waited to be slaughtered or booked to be slaughtered.we shouldn’t be taking anymore dogs we still haven’t been able to get dogs from the shelter I visited.

We still owe the vets in China 12k

Each new dog we are looking at at least 4k with vets,transport flights etc.

That’s just basic.

The little black dog looks so old 💔💔

Thankfully the kennels hasn’t been hit hard with any winds.

It’s rained all night heavily and still light rain now.The drainage system works well at the kennels thankfully.

So thankful we wasn’t hit with the winds..

So upsetting happens all the time in China 💔💔💔

A man in China broke down after discovering his stolen dog had been sold and eaten.

The dog, Chutou, was not a stray.

He was an 8-year-old Border Collie with a collar, a GPS tracker, and more than 1.5 million followers online.

His owner, Guo, was travelling abroad when Chutou suddenly disappeared.

Surveillance footage reportedly showed the dog being taken.

Guo then traced what happened and found out something heartbreaking.

Chutou had allegedly been sold into the dog meat trade for around $34.

By the time his owner found out, it was already too late.

The dog had reportedly been eaten.

Guo broke down crying.

To him, Chutou was not property.

He was family.

The case has caused outrage in China, with many people pointing out that pets can still be treated mainly as property under the law, even when they are loved like children.

A dog with a name, a home, a collar, and a tracker was stolen and sold for the price of a cheap meal.

And his owner was left grieving a family member the law may not fully recognise.

Hope is booked in for X-rays on Thursday.We will know them if her leg can be saved.

Her mental state is good and she’s eating well 💙💙

Summer has added extra shade over the runs in the large kennels.

The dogs all have bedroom inside with beds.They all have outdoor runs attached to the bedrooms that are big and open.

The dogs then have a big exercise area so weather depending they have a run each day and a sniff.

Apparently the storm is approaching the area the kennels are located in later today.

We have had someone out to inspect the drains but a lot of rain is expected.

Summer is pretty confident the kennels will be fine ❤️

Little Pip update

Pip unfortunately had to come back into our care after her owner sadly passed away.Shes now been rehomed and settled well.We also helped her sister Tilly who was from another rescue.Both have been adopted video of Tilly in comments ❤️❤️❤️❤️
