Railway staff are celebrated in photography exhibition at Hove Station. Young people with social, emotional or special educational needs have unveiled a powerful new photography exhibition showcasing the human stories behind the railway network.
The exhibition, titled A Tribute to the Heart of the Tracks is on display at Hove Station in both platform waiting rooms, and represents a year-long collaborative project between SupaJam Education in Music and Media, Southern Railway and the SCRP.

It’s great to see Reading’s latest fleet of electric buses on the road today.

Passengers on the yellow 26 route should notice a smoother, quieter journey between the town and Southcote, Calcot and IKEA with seven new zero emission double-deckers operating on the route.

The high-quality vehicles contain a host of features to make the journey even more comfortable, including high-back seats with plenty of leg room and air conditioning powered by heat pumps.

The Council and Reading Buses have successfully secured a total of £9m government funding to purchase 49 electric buses for Reading, increasing comfort for passengers and reducing noise and carbon emissions in the environment.
