Donating knitted hearts is easy! Drop to any West Sussex library or train station

There's still time to knit, crochet or felt a white heart for this year's Your Community Cares campaign.

This November, the hearts will be given to passengers and rail staff at stations across West Sussex as part of a campaign to encourage kindness, spark conversations and support welcoming station environments.

Alongside the hearts, information cards signposting people to specialist support services will be offered, helping raise awareness of where to turn for help if they're struggling.

There's still time to get involved as we've extended the deadline. Drop your white heart (up to 10cm) at any West Sussex library by Monday 16 November.

Every heart counts. By donating one, you're helping us spread kindness, raise awareness of support services and remind people in our community that they're not alone.

When the journey feels tough... Your Community CARES! 🤍

On Thursday 26th November, members of our Youth Team will be at East Worthing Station from 3:30pm as part of the Your Community Cares campaign!

We’ll be handing out white crafted hearts lovingly made by local community members, along with handy info cards pointing to local support services and resources. If you’re passing through say hello and pick up a heart as a gentle reminder that your community is here for you. 💙

In partnership with Southeast Communities Rail Partnership CIC and West Sussex County Council.

Keep Lancing Lovely will be doing the same at Lancing Station so keep an eye out for them too 😀
