If you haven't visited before, it's a truly wonderful place on the outskirts of Stevenage. They are a not-for-profit care and education farm dedicated to conserving wildlife, farming ecologically, and providing amazing opportunities for people with special needs.

It's a lovely local spot to support while enjoying some seasonal family fun ! 🚜🍁

Meet Neurodivergent author Robin Ince at Next Page Books in a Hitchin.

See their post for more info and to book your place.

Come meet Robin Ince!
Tuesday 10th November 7.30-9pm

Robin Ince is an English comedian, actor, writer, broadcaster, and populariser of scientific ideas. Known for co-founding and co-hosting BBC Radio 4’s award-winning The Infinite Monkey Cage with Brian Cox, before resigning in 2025 over political rather than scientific differences. He is also recently diagnosed with ADHD and in his recent book ‘Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal’, Robin uses his own life to explore the neurodivergent experience and to ask what the point of ‘being normal’ really is. Packed with personal insights, intimate anecdotes and interviews with psychologists, neuroscientists and many neurodivergent people he has met along the way, this is a quirky and witty dive into the world of human behaviour.

Robin’s talks are brilliantly informative, often hilarious and sprinkled with poignancy. We’ve wanted him to visit the shop for so long and are super excited for this one. Please share with your contacts - it will be a 12+ event, not aimed at kids but lots of teens enjoy hearing Robin speak (must be accompanied if under 18)

Book tickets on Eventbrite, use QR code or link in bio.
Tickets are £5 - redeemable against a purchase of any of Robin’s books on the night. If finances are holding you back, drop us email as we can usually help via our ‘pay it forward’ board.

Why we must protect legal rights for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): The Government’s proposed SEND reforms threaten to weaken legal rights and restrict access to EHCP's.

IPSEA has put together an important video explaining the impact these changes could have on children and young people.

How you can support: Watch the IPSEA breakdown video.

Sign the parliamentary petition started by young SEND campaigner Tee-Jay Chetwynd - Young SEND Campaigner to protect legal rights to support.
