Happy 90th Birthday to our friends at the iconic Broadway Cinema & Theatre

For nine decades, the Broadway has been so much more than a place to go and watch a film. It’s been a cherished part of Letchworth’s story and a place where generations have shared so many memories.

From first dates on the original ‘love seats’ at the back of the cinema to family trips on a Saturday morning, the Broadway has always been an integral part of our town’s community and character.

It's the first meeting of our Quiet Book Group on Tuesday 1st September, 7pm-9pm.
The group is ideal if you are looking for dedicated time to read, away from distractions.
The Quiet Book Club will meet monthly here at Letchworth Library.
There's no set book, no assigned reading, and no pressure to join in discussions. Simply bring along whatever you're currently reading and enjoy an hour of peaceful, uninterrupted reading in the company of fellow book lovers.
