Tom has recently joined the StEP and loves football. He is now doing a work experience placement at Wellington Football Club working with the groundsman team.
Tom had a great time learning new skills and how to line mark. Following this, the person who referred him to us said "Claire has provided outstanding support throughout the process, guiding and encouraging him every step of the way. The impact has been remarkable. He has truly come alive, showing increased motivation, confidence, and enthusiasm to engage in new opportunities.
The positive difference StEP has made to this young person's life cannot be overstated. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine commitment to helping individuals achieve their potential is exceptional. They not only provide opportunities but also inspire confidence, ambition, and hope for the future."

Today Roz and Claire were so proud to watch Leia and Luca in their new jobs at the new food hall at M&S Ludlow. They joined us as StEP beneficiaries for work experience placements as receptionists, admin and retail assistants in our ECHO shop and were encouraged and then supported by the StEP to apply for their new positions. They have been amazing while working with us, and will be amazing in their new roles too. Sadly, Leia has had to leave us, but Luca will continue with us two days a week. Just an excuse to go shopping at M & S to catch up with Leia though! Congratulations you two. Their confidence has soared and they have become firm friends and found what they needed at ECHO, which is what the StEP and volunteering team are all about.
