Today the result is secondary to the fact that, after 15 years as County Captain, Becci Cox and her vice captain Merion Attwood are stepping down from roles in which they have performed so well.

Becci and Merion have transformed the County Team, helping to take them to new heights and turning them into a competitive force that has improved year on year, with this year’s Premier 2 being a culmination of that hard work and commitment.

The County Team have come together to give both Becci and Merion a gift to say thank you.

Big thanks to ESMBA Chair Barry Hedges for making the presentation.

A spirited final session sees the Bulls fall short of the mountain they needed to overcome!

The final score sees Oxfordshire win 24-16 (215-192) congratulations to them on a strong performance and we look forward to meeting them next year in the group stages next year.

Well done to The Bulls who put up a good fight with just a few games separating the teams, with it being an achievement in itself reaching finals day.

We have one more important post to follow…
