Community Wheels Community Wheels is a transport service aimed at those residents without the means or ability to travel, covering North and central Herefordshire.

Community Wheels is a transport service aimed at those residents without the means or ability to travel. We have a team of over 40 DBS (previously called the Criminal Records Bureau or CRB check) checked volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles to take you to your destination. We cover the North and Central Herefordshire part of the Travel Links county network. To use the service, clients must

live within our catchment area and be struggling to access transport. We have a team of caring volunteer drivers who give their time for free. There is a small charge for using the service. Are you a wheelchair user? We can help you too! We have wheelchair accessible vehicles for those who may need one, please ask us for more details. For inquiries and bookings please call:

Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am till 2.30 p.m. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required when booking - however in case of emergency bookings please call us anyway and we will see if we can help. We are always looking for volunteer drivers!! If you are interested in volunteering or know somebody that may be - please call us!

Good morning to you all,
As we head towards the Easter bank holiday weekend we wanted to let you know that the Community Wheels office will be closed on Good Friday, the 3rd and Easter Monday the 6th of April.
We will be open again 8.30am on Tuesday!🙂

Good afternoon everyone,
A quick update on the opening times for the Community Wheels Booking Line. The line is now open from 8.30am until 2.30pm, Monday to Friday although we are closed on the bank holidays.

Hello all,
As we head towards the festive season we wanted to let everyone know our office closure dates for over Christmas and new year period. 🎄
The CW office will close at 2.30pm on Tuesday the 23rd of December and reopen on Monday the 5th of January 2026.
If you need to get in touch during this time please leave an answerphone message and we will contact you as soon as possible on our return to the office on the 5th!
We would like to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful new year, whatever you are getting up to.
We would also like to thank every single one of our amazing volunteers. Community Wheels would not exist if it wasn't for your continued kindness, generousity and support. Thank you so much!
