The ECHO Weavers had a lovely day at the Leominster Apple Fair on Saturday. The Priory Church is such a beautiful setting for it and, as usual, we saw and chatted to lots of people that we knew. Our stall was busy and we sold just over £130 worth of handwoven goods. We also sold £50 worth of the delightful knitted pumpkins made by The ECHO Priory Project! Thanks to all who came to see us and especially to those who bought something from us.

Many thanks to all those who visited the pop-up shop in Leominster Library last week, especially those who came to see the ECHO Weavers at work on Friday. We sold over £200 worth of handwoven goods during the week which we are all very happy about. We are now busy getting ready for the Leominster Apple Fair which is taking place in the Priory Church on Saturday 19th October, 10.00 am - 4.00 pm. Do come and see us, buy some beautiful handwoven Christmas presents, and watch the weavers at work on their looms....

This month we celebrated Tracey's 50th birthday. Tracey and I first met when she was in her 20s! She has been weaving now for 15 years and makes beautiful bags and purses. She has a lovely colour sense and takes great pride in the neatness of her work.

Earlier this month, the ECHO Weavers enjoyed a lovely sunny day in the beautiful gardens at Eaton Barn. Some chose to weave on their inkle and circular looms, whilst others worked hard to finish off the 'Big Wave' which was started at the Leominster-by-the-Sea Fun Day in June. With help from some of the gardeners at Eaton Barn, we managed to complete it and are very happy with the end result!

Many thanks to everyone who came and wove some of the Big Wave at the Leominster-by-the-Sea Fun Day on Saturday. We had a dying day on Friday! Rebecca and Michelle dyed some skeins of white handspun yarn into beautiful shades of purple, green and turquoise. Michelle will use these, alongside felted woollen jumpers cut into strips, to create her lovely handwoven cushions.

On Friday, the ECHO Weaving Workshop moved to Leominster Library Foyer for the day. We were there for the Clever Betsy and ECHO Weavers 'Pop-Up' Shop. Here are Rebecca, Vicki and Steph all working hard!
Do come and see us on The Grange this Saturday (15th June). We will be taking part in the Leominster-by-the-Sea Fun Day with a 'Big Wave' (or Big Weave) for everyone to have a go at, and will also have a stall selling handwoven goods.
