Well done to the 145 runners, joggers and walkers who attended the friendliest parkrun in the land this morning!
Special thank you to Cheadle running club who came forward with volunteers to save the day so we could run the event safely today.
Getting volunteers to help is difficult, if you can spare an hour or so on a Saturday morning please let us know and we’ll add you to the roster.

If you're on the quicker side, you can still 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ and then get a volunteer credit for scanning after!

Well done to the 157 walkers, joggers and runners at Birchall Playing Fields parkrun today! Super to have several first timers to parkrun, visitors from Australia and some great PBs too. Special thanks to our high vis heroes, we are really grateful to all of you for helping out. If you would like to join us as a volunteer, drop us a message, we would love to welcome you to the team. It’s always difficult during the holiday period but we are doing are best to keep our little parkrun going during the summer, but……..

We need volunteers to make it happen, and even more so this week as roster is looking very depleted.

Well done to the 140 of you that ran, jeffed or walked our parkrun today, you were all brilliant! Thank you as always to all the volunteers this morning, without you this free event wouldn’t happen every Saturday morning at 9am 👍
If anyone is free to help us out in the coming weeks please let us know as the core team are starting to take holidays (how dare they)! We want to avoid having to cancel due to the lack of volunteers! We’re the friendliest bunch of people going and all roles are simple, we can train you in about 34 seconds!
