It was lovely to show German and Austrian press visitors around the Foxlowe on Friday, this was organised by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council as part of a tour of the area.

This Tuesday, 3rd November we are screening Comedie Francaise - a love letter to the theatre, set during the chaotic three hours before the opening night of Shakespeare's Macbeth at Paris's prestigious Comedie-Francaise.

Film starts at 7.45 pm. Bar from 7 pm. Tickets available on the door, online or from the cafe.

At the Comédie-Française, the show must go on. But three hours before Nina’s directorial debut, chaos erupts: a stranded actor, exploding tensions, broken equipment, clashing egos. With time running out, she fights to save the premiere.

Something new for Sunday 1/11/26 1pm-3pm. Our cafe is open as usual for drinks and cakes on the Sunday Supplement, so check out the food stalls on the award winning artisan market and the usual high class stalls then pop in to catch some Jazzzz.
