Were proud to introduce a new service to the Larne area.

The Larne Community Hub have teamed up with The Veterans Welfare Service NI,

To offer a monthly pop in service to be based in The Larne Community Hub in Murrayfield's shopping centre Unit 5.

An update from the RBL Poppy Appeal for wreaths this year.

1. C Wreath no insert is now £27
2. C Wreath with insert is now £31
3. L Wreath is now £20
4. A Posy is £20

Larne Poppy Appeal also do personalised inserts, please make contact with Matthew for Prices.

Inserts went up last year from £2.50 to £3.50
Blank wreaths have not gone up in the last few years.

This is due to manufacturing costs.

I know it's disappointing, this has to be passed on.

We all appreciate the Act of Remembrance.

The new Supporting Our Armed Forces badge has arrived.

It's available in the Larne Community Hub in Murrayfields at £4 per badge.

Progress update

The unit is looking good, the shop front window is now in design. New signs will be put up next weekend.

If everyone is wondering, the unit has gone through a face-lift, inside and out.

Major changes are happening.

The unit is nearly ready for opening.

This will be the permanent home of Larne Poppy Appeal.

Keep your eyes and ears open for the launch day.

Just an update, everything has been counted.

Thank you cards will be sent into the community on 10th, 11th and 12th December 2025.

The Final figure is £16,095.84 with £399 outstanding with invoices. Total £16,494.84 including contactless.

The challenges we have faced this year with Asda date restrictions and the closure of Iceland for 1 week at launch time.

If any churches or organisations still wish to donate, this is a change from last year as The RBL Club was still open, now it's permanently Closed.

Please do not address cheques as Earl Haig fund as these have to be returned back to donator for re-issue.

Any other type of donation, please contact Matthew where a receipt will be provided for the donation.

Please also include a return address for Thank you cards to be delivered once received.
