🚜❤️£2,842 Donated to Islandmagee Primary School❤️🚜

Deborah & Rosie from Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run were delighted to present £2,842 to Islandmagee Primary School, helping to support the pupils and their learning environment.

We loved joining your assembly, thanking the children for coming along to the Tractor & Truck Run, and hearing all about the fun they had on the day. It was wonderful to see so much excitement and we are delighted to be able to give back to the school and support the young people in our community.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Islandmagee Primary School for their support with this event. We especially appreciated the pupils coming along and performing at the Tractor & Truck Run — they were a fantastic addition to the evening and helped make the event even more special for everyone who attended. Country Roads was fab! 🎵🎤🤠 Well done kids! 👏🏻

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, this year’s event raised an incredible £9,026.88. From this total, £500 has been allocated towards the upkeep of local defibrillators in Islandmagee, with the remaining funds shared equally between Playaway Playgroup, Islandmagee Primary School, and Cancer Focus NI.

🚜👏 A Huge Thank You to Our Vehicle Parking Team! 👏🚜

As we reflect on another fantastic Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated vehicle parking team — Andrew McFarland, Harry Magill, Tommy Gray, and Jaimie Forsythe.

This is no easy job, especially considering we
couldn’t use the field as it was water logged. The guys pulled the parking off so well, working as a team and getting everyone parked up safely.

A very special mention must go to Andrew McFarland. Quite simply, our run would not be possible without him. Not only does Andrew take the lead in parking and organising all the vehicles on the day, but he also plays a major role behind the scenes helping to plan the route. His hard work, commitment, and attention to detail are invaluable to the success of the event. Thank you, Andrew, for everything you do.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Stuarty Dick, who is always on hand to help us throughout the tractor run. Your support and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed are greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your dedication, hard work, and continued support in making the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run such a success. 🚜💙

👨‍🍳🥖A very special thank you to Jason from Tweedie Pies, Whitehead.

He certainly wouldn’t be looking any recognition, but we feel it’s important to acknowledge the incredible support he has given to the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run.

Jason not only provided the hot plate for the event, but he also generously sponsored all the sausages and hot dog baps. His support, kindness and willingness to help are greatly appreciated by us and by everyone involved in making the run such a success.

Community events like ours simply wouldn’t be possible without the backing of local businesses and people like Jason.

What a performance from Mervyn, from
Loughside Farm who took on the brand-new Bale Toss Challenge at Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run and became the first competitor to launch the bale clean over the towering 10ft post! 🌾🔥

A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved title. Congratulations, Mervyn! 👏👏

🚜💙 Islandmagee Community Development Association Receives £500 from Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run💙🚜

Deborah and Rosie from the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run were delighted to present £500 to the Islandmagee Community Development Association (ICDA). This generous donation will help support the ongoing maintenance of the community defibrillators located throughout Islandmagee.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, a fantastic £9,026.88 was raised at this year’s Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run! 🎉

Of this total:
💙 £500 has been donated to ICDA for the maintenance of local defibrillators.
💛 The remaining funds have been shared equally between Playaway Playgroup, Islandmagee Primary School, and Cancer Focus NI.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you again next year! ☺️👏🏻🚜💙💛

🚜💙 Playaway Playgroup receive £2,842 from Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run💙🚜

Deborah & Rosie from the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run were delighted to hand over £2,842.30 to Playaway Playgroup.

We are thrilled to be able to support the young children of Islandmagee by helping Playaway Playgroup purchase essential resources, games, and activities that will enhance learning and development for the children in their care.

A total of £9,026.88 was raised at this years Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run. £500 will be going towards the maintenance of the local defibs in Islandmagee and the rest has been split evenly between, Playaway Playgroup, Islandmagee Primary School & Cancer Focus NI.

👏🏻 A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, and supported the event. Your generosity and community spirit have made a real difference, and we are proud to help invest in the future of our local children.

🥁 Drum roll please………. 🥁

We are absolutely delighted to announce that this year’s Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run raised an incredible £9,026.88! 🚜🚛 That’s our biggest year to date!

You have completely blown us away. Once again, our amazing community came together and raised a truly remarkable amount of money. We cannot thank you all enough for your generosity and support.

We are delighted that this incredible total will allow us to support our three chosen organisations:

❤️ Islandmagee Primary School
❤️ Cancer Focus Northern Ireland
❤️ Playaway Playgroup

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, we are also able to make an additional donation of £500 towards replacing the batteries and pads for the defibrillators in Islandmagee. This will be presented to Islandmagee Community Development Association later this week who maintain the defibs on the Island.

This simply would not have been possible without all of you. Whether you lined the streets, took part in the run, volunteered your time, sponsored the event, donated, bought a raffle ticket or simply came along to support the event – every contribution made a huge difference. 👏 Thank you to every single person. We are so proud of the incredible community spirit that exists here in Islandmagee.

Over the coming week, we will be hosting cheque presentations with each of the organisations and look forward to sharing those special moments with you all.

We are always looking for ways to improve the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run and make it an enjoyable and safe event for everyone. We would love to hear your feedback and suggestions, so please get in touch with Deborah or Rosie with any ideas you may have.

And yes… we are already planning for next year! 🚜💨

Plans for 2027 include:
✅ New charities to support
✅ New games and activities
✅ A new route for the run

Our event is growing each year and takes a lot of people to make it work. If you would like to join the tractor run committee please get in contact. We would love to have you on board.

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Our Registration Dream Team! 🌟

Behind every successful Tractor & Truck Run is an incredible team of volunteers, and today we want to shine a spotlight on our amazing Registration Team! 👏🚜

From the moment drivers arrived, this fantastic group worked tirelessly throughout the evening to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Their hard work, dedication, and friendly faces helped get all the drivers registered and on the road safely.

Events like the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run simply wouldn’t happen without volunteers like these who give up their time to help make the day such a success.

💙 Thank you for your commitment, your energy, and all the hard work you put in behind the scenes. We are so grateful to have such an amazing team supporting our event.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Greedy Gannet for their fantastic support of the Islandmagee Tractor & Truck Run.

Not only did they generously donate vouchers for our raffle, but they also opened on the night to keep both our participants and the Islandmagee community fuelled with delicious coffee, tea, and some seriously tasty tray bakes!
