COMMUNITY CORNER, EVERY FRIDAY AT THE HUB 💙

Could you do with a bit of extra help with the weekly shop, or just don’t know where to turn for advice? Community Corner is our weekly drop-in for practical help and essential resources, open to anyone in the Larkhall area who needs it.

We’re home to weekly drop-in clinics from Money Matters, What I Need Project, Citizens Advice Bureau and Housing, plus a community surgery with Alex Kerr MSP. We also have a private office in the Hub, so you can have a confidential conversation whenever you need one.

Upcoming service dates:
Citizens Advice Bureau, 10am - 1pm: 20th November and 18th December
Community Surgery with Alex Kerr MSP, 10am - 11.30am: 11th December and 29th January

Every Friday, 10am - 1pm

Today we paid our respect to the fallen as we installed the first Community Poppy Instalation in the grounds of St Machan's.

There will be two service held on the 11th November in
St. Machan Church, 10.45am and 5.45pm.

We recently thanked Ellie's Boutique Scotland for their generous donation to Hareleeshill Community Hub of cash after the fashion show in St. Tams. The funds were used to provide an afternoon tea at our Ladies day earlier this month. Thank you!

PRIZE BINGO IS BACK THIS MONDAY 🏆

Dust off your dabbers, Prize Bingo returns to Hareleeshill Community Hub on Monday 2nd November!

Doors open 6.30pm, eyes down 7pm
£10 per book

Round up your friends, get settled in and enjoy a cosy night of bingo, a good blether and some brilliant prizes up for grabs.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING TO THE HUB 🎄

Mark your calendars, our Christmas Fayre is just over two weeks away!

Join us on Saturday 14th November, 12pm - 3pm at Hareleeshill Community Hub, 21 Howard Street, Larkhall, ML9 2LY 📍

Pop in to see Santa in his grotto, warm up with something from our Christmas Cafe, and browse our craft and gift stalls for something special for your loved ones. For the little ones, there’s facepainting, glitter tattoos and a kids Christmas craft table, and Laverock Community Choir will be performing to get everyone in the festive spirit.

We can’t wait to see some familiar faces and welcome some new ones! 💙

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK AT THE HUB 💙

Take a look at what we've got going on this week at Hareleeshill Community Hub, from Baby & Toddlers for our little ones to Book Club, Lunch Club and a catch-up over a cuppa at Community Cafe.

On Friday, Alex Kerr MSP will be holding a surgery from 10am - 11.30am, alongside Community Corner, 10am - 1pm, and Craft Group, 10.30am - 1pm. If there's something you'd like to raise, pop in for a chat.

A warm space and a friendly face is waiting for you all week. We hope to see you there 💙

Join us for Community Corner on Friday 30th October, 10am - 1pm at Hareleeshill Community Hub, 21 Howard Street, Larkhall, ML9 2LY 📍

From 10am - 11.30am, Alex Kerr MSP will be holding a community surgery. He’ll be joined by the Pride in Place team, who are running a public consultation on the works planned for Hamilton town centre. They’d love to hear from the people of Larkhall, so if you’ve got thoughts on the plans or something you’d like to raise, pop in for a chat.

We’ll also have visits from Julia from the What I Need project, Money Matters and more, so there’s plenty of friendly faces on hand if you could do with a bit of support or advice.

Our doors are open from 10am - 1pm, so come along and have your say 💙

TEEN CRAFT GROUP JUST GOT LONGER 🎨

Our Teen Craft Group has been so popular that our young people asked for a bit more time to get creative, and we listened!

Teen Craft Group now runs every Wednesday, 6pm - 7.45pm at Hareleeshill Community Hub, 21 Howard Street, Larkhall, ML9 2LY 📍

It’s open to anyone S1 and up. It’s free, refreshments are provided and donations are always welcome. That means more time to craft, chat and make something you’re proud of.

If you know a young person who’d enjoy it, send this their way. Built by the community, for the community 💙
