It is with a very heavy heart that we share the devastating news that our local town warrior, layla has sadly gained her angel wings.

At this incredibly difficult time, we kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy and allow them the time and space they need to grieve together.

While nothing can take away the pain of this heartbreaking loss, we can come together as a community to help ease some of the financial pressure the family now faces.

If you are able to support the fundraiser, no matter how big or small the donation, it would be greatly appreciated and would mean so much to the family.

So my brains been ticking always looking for ways to switch things up and better each event few people wondered why a changed from June to may for the gala and as you can see it was a good call with the weather, so the gala days will remain the last Saturday in may.
However as you are all aware of last years Christmas market it was a complete wash out and took a heavy financial hit with everything we paid to hire and took a heavy loss not going to lie anyone that seen me on the day knows i was absolutely gutted and felt like i failed not only for our selfs but for the community and our amazing stall holders. So I have taken the decision and will be moving the Christmas market light switch on to the last Sunday in November this means we should have better weather and we get a full month of our stunning main street light up ❤️ ###

We're getting organised early to make sure this year's Christmas Market is the best it can be and, most importantly, that we never find ourselves in the same position with the stage again.
To help make this happen, we'll be running raffles throughout the year to raise funds for the Christmas Market. Rather than continually asking our fantastic local businesses for financial support, we're hoping to raise as much as we can through community fundraising. Every raffle will contribute to a running total, and we'll keep everyone updated on our fundraising progress as we tick items off the list.
If you're able to support us by taking part in the raffles, donating prizes, or simply sharing our posts, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every bit of support helps us continue putting on the Christmas Market and the Gala Day for our community.
