LDVG are a charity whose aim is to promote the wellbeing of the community in South Lanarkshire through reducing physical and social isolation, increasing health and wellbeing; increasing volunteering opportunities; and supporting local social enterprises. We provide community services and activities for local people. LDVG aim to reduce social isolation and promote health and well-being in the comm

unity in Larkhall. We deliver many services including 7 lunch clubs a week, our call line, a handyperson service, mini bus hire, computer classes, exercise classes, a walking group, genealogy classes, gardening group, monthly tea dances and more!

🌿 Garden Group – Get your hands dirty, enjoy the outdoors, and help create beautiful spaces.

🏃 Exercise Group – Stay active, improve your wellbeing, and have fun with friendly sessions suitable for all abilities.

⚽ Sports Group – Enjoy a variety of sporting activities in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

🎖️ Armed Services Group – A chance for veterans and those with connections to the Armed Forces to come together, share experiences, and enjoy great company.

Everyone is welcome, and there’s something for all interests and abilities. Come along, make new friends, and be part of a supportive community!

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers! 🌟

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at our Volunteer Celebration Event during Volunteer Week. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate your achievements, and recognise the incredible difference you make to our community.

It was a great afternoon with a buffet style lunch, bingo, quiz, games and free raffle.

Your time, kindness, and dedication are truly appreciated, and we simply couldn't do what we do without you. Thank you for everything you do and for making such a positive impact on the lives of others.
