Scouts enjoyed a great weekend in North Wales. The site was amazing, views stunning and even the rain kept off most of the time!
Special thanks to Dafydd for organising the site; Dafydd’s mum and dad for sorting our shopping and coming hiking with us; Aneta the chief washer upper; Martin and Paul’s minibus driving….couldn’t have happened without them!

Lancaster Pride parade this weekend - come walk with the rest of the district.

Note: This is not a scout event so you cannot leave your child, you need to walk with them.

Come and join us on Sunday for Lancaster Pride. Scouts is a fully inclusive organisation and we celebrate all of our youth and adult members regardless of gender or sexuality. We always love to have parents, young people and volunteers present. At Morecambe Pride we formed a very visible contingent. For uniformed young people and volunteers, please wear your uniform and decorate it up with anything rainbow! The louder, the better. Meet at 10.40 am outside Cornerstone Church (next to the Borough) on Dalton Square. We will join the parade at 11.00 am. As always, this is a free choice event, no one is forced to come. As it is not an official Scout event we would love parents to join us to support their young person. Look forward to seeing you there. If you can help to man our stall please let me know. The weather finally came good and the cubs got to enjoy their much awaited bike ride to Crook’o’Lune to complete their cyclist badge.
