E2M Microgigs Returns – A Celebration of Young Talent & Live Music

Escape2Make Microgigs return with a relaxed and welcoming evening of live music, celebrating young people and local music.

This cosy event promises friendly faces, great performances and a positive atmosphere for all. The night will feature a special performance from West End performer Leigh Coggins (Les Misérables / Phantom of the Opera), alongside sets from talented young local , offering a fantastic opportunity to support E2M.

With Calm Together - Support for emotional regulation. – I just got recognised as one of their top fans! 🎉 Rightly so check them out.

We are looking forward to working with them alongside Learn Together: Tailored SEND Solutions for some EOTAS (Education other than at school).

Its not in a classroom, its not in the home because this child needs some trust building to calm a nervous system thats been battered and bruised in an education system that couldn't meet her needs.

Know any youngsters Aged 16–24 in Morecambe who are currently not in employment, education, or training (NEET), please encourage them to attend a small, supportive workshop due to take place at Morecambe Library on Thus 16th April from 1.30pm.

Their voices will help shape better support for young people locally and they’ll receive a £25 Love2Shop voucher as a thank you. Lancaster District CVS

Freedom of Information Request to Lancashire County Council

Lancashire County Council has been celebrating reduced EHCP backlogs and improved SEND processes.

Have they been transparent about how they're achieving it.

Through our advocacy work, we're seeing EHCPs with strikingly similar wording despite children having completely different needs.

Generic provision language.
Vague outcomes.

Wording that looks fine to families who don't know what they don't know, but makes the plan legally unenforceable.

When an EHCP isn't specific and measurable, you can't challenge it at tribunal.
There is recourse, but it becomes significantly harder when provision is vague.
No accountability.

We've submitted a Freedom of Information request asking Lancashire County Council whether they're using AI or automated systems to draft EHCPs, and if so, whether they've completed the mandatory algorithmic transparency records.

Full FOI request in the comments. If your child has a Lancashire EHCP and you've noticed standardised wording or copy-paste phrases, and/or they have watered down your child's rights this is for you.
