RAFAC is made up of two areas:

Air Training Corps - The ATC is the RAF's cadet force, divided into six regions, 34 wings and more than 900 squadrons within communities around the UK. Combined Cadet Force (RAF) - The CCF (RAF) is our section of the CCF which is made up of cadets from all three services, coming together in approximately 200 independent and state schools across the country

Our Page Rules

1. We are a youth organisation and while we are happy to receive positive and negative feedback on the organisation, negative comments directed at cadets appearing in our content will not be tolerated.

2. We will feature content of our cadets and volunteers which will often only have one name in it. This is to protect their privacy and security. Please refrain from adding further personal details about these individuals even if well intentioned.

3. No hate speech or bullying. We have a zero tolerance response to any comments that are deemed to be offensive, degrading or bigoted against things like race, religion, culture, gender, sexual orientation, gender or identity.

4. No promotions spam or irrelevant links.

As comes to an inspiring close, open days are taking place right across the country, welcoming prospective cadets and adult volunteers to experience life in the RAF Air Cadets! ✈️🚀
Today, we are proud to stand alongside our Navy and Army Cadet counterparts at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Visitors can get hands-on with our interactive Flight Simulators and cutting-edge STEM demonstration kits, giving them a real taste of our progressive training syllabus.

Breaking barriers and unlocking real potential through skills for life! ✈️🎓
​To mark "Skills for Life" day as part of , we are proud to share the story of a cadet from a disadvantaged background who successfully earned a bursary place at Eton College.

​He credits the soft skills, character development, and interview confidence gained through the RAF Air Cadets as the deciding factor in navigating the competitive selection process.

SKILLS FOR LIFE 💪

“I never thought I’d have the confidence to do that.”

From speaking in front of a crowd to leading a team, making new friends, trying something completely new or simply having the confidence to give something a go, our cadets are constantly learning skills that stay with them long after parade night.

Because being an Air Cadet is about more than uniforms and drill. It’s about discovering what you’re capable of and realising you can do more than you ever thought possible 💙
