💚 PANDAS Foundation In-Person Peer Support Group 💚

Thursday 26th June | 10:30am–11:30am

You are warmly invited to join us for our next in-person peer support group. This is a friendly, welcoming space for parents experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, including pregnancy, postnatal, birth trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment to parenthood.

Come along for a cuppa, refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with others who understand. There is no pressure to share—some parents come to chat, others simply listen, and both are equally welcome.

Our group offers:
☕ Tea, coffee and refreshments
💚 A safe, non-judgemental environment
🤝 Peer support from other parents with lived experience
👶 Babies are welcome to attend with you
🌱 Time to talk, listen and feel less alone

Whether you’re newly struggling or further along in your journey, you are welcome exactly as you are.

We look forward to seeing you there. 💚

No referral is needed. Simply come along and join us.

All welcome to our free in person group. We meet the last Friday of every month at Ulverston Sports Club.

Coming up we will be joined by Gemma from Bay Wide Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP).

MNVPs are independent groups made up of parents, families and professionals who work together to help improve local maternity and neonatal services. They listen to real experiences of pregnancy, birth, postnatal care and neonatal services to help shape positive change for families in our area. Gemma would really love to hear about your experiences both the positives and the things you feel could be improved.

I’m so excited to be facilitating within The NEST with PANDAS 💛

Perinatal mental health is something I feel deeply passionate about, and being able to hold space for parents during such a vulnerable and transformative time truly means so much to me.

These sessions are all about gentle support, connection, and helping you feel less alone whether you’re preparing for parenthood or navigating it right now.

If this is something you or someone you know could benefit from, please do reach out and explore the support available.

Thank you to Jules from Daisy First Aid who joined us at our PANDAS group this morning. She shared her knowledge and guided us through how to recognise and respond to choking something many parents worry about as babies move into weaning. Learning these skills around choking and CPR is so valuable and can truly be lifesaving.

We’re so grateful for your time and support 🤍

All are welcome at PANDAS a safe space for a listening ear, shared experiences, and gentle community support.

Walking into a support group for the first time can feel daunting. Many parents worry they won’t know what to say or whether their experience is “serious enough”, but again and again, we hear the same thing afterwards, “I wish I had come sooner.”

Connection can be powerful when you’re navigating perinatal mental health challenges and we have support groups all over the country.
