Philip turned 80 this year, so in recognition of this he has walked the Dales Way - 80 miles for 80 years! In doing so he has been raising money for 4 charities close to his and his families hearts, one of which being Matilda’s Mission.

We are so grateful for your support Philip, it will go a long way in helping us to keep supporting local bereaved families. Huge congratulations from us all for completing the challenge!

You may remember us sharing a post a little while ago about our wonderful volunteer Biba, who led the coordination between volunteers and worked closely alongside Janet Gorry, NMVP Chair, supporting the design decisions behind the new maternity bereavement suite, the Willow Suite at the RLI 💜

Today, we’re reaching out again for support with a project that means so much to us.

Sadly, we all know first-hand just how precious every single second is within these environments, and how important memory making becomes for families during the hardest moments imaginable.

That’s why we are creating *Matilda’s Mission Memory Books* 📚✨

These beautiful books will be available in the suite for families to choose from, read together, and take home as a treasured keepsake filled with love, comfort, and memories.

✨Something sparkly is coming your way… it’s the Matilda’s Mission Adults Christmas party!✨

🩷 Now, far be it from us to post last year’s shenanigans back online to prove this but… One way of grieving is to come together with people who understand it. & even have fun.

🗓️ So at Christmas, we like to celebrate the group the helped us in grief. And this year, something sparkly is happening at the Gregson, so save the date!
