URGENT: Our Scout Group needs YOU! ⚜️

Dear parents/ carers and 1st Knaresborough (CASTLE) community members,

Our Scout Group is thriving, but we have reached a critical point. To keep offering incredible opportunities, skills for life, and safe adventures for our young people, we need to fill vacancies on our Trustee Board.

Without new trustees, we risk having to close sections or even the whole group.

We are looking for people to help behind the scenes with:

✨ Governance & Strategy (Ensuring we follow the rules)

💰 Finances (Supporting our Treasurer)

🛠️ Property/Maintenance (Looking after our Scout Hut)

You do not need to have been a Scout before, and this is entirely separate from leading activities. It is a flexible, behind-the-scenes role with minimal time commitment (about 4 meetings a year + occasional emails).

We urgently seek the following positions:

Chairperson

Secretary

Treasurer

Cost is £5 per person including refreshments.
