Child Dynamix's big clothing swap event is happening this Friday! If you haven't yet dropped off your donations before the event, you've still got until Thursday to do so.

Then, this Friday (19th June), come along to the Community Room at 95 Preston Road from 1pm to 3pm. We'll have all kinds of clothes available - with everything priced at just £1 or 1 token each.

Out Blue Influencers at TIC Hull, Lincolnshire & Yorkshire had a busy session this weekend!

The group discussed issues that are important to us, including ways in which our oceans are being damaged. They used this as a starting point for their art projects.

The end result were some some amazing pieces of art - such as sun-catcher butterflies, dragonflies and more! All this great work will go towards their Art Award!

All set up at Holderness House for the TIC Hull, Lincolnshire & Yorkshire Summer Fair!

Come along, there are lots of activities to do - including painting and creating nature trails. You can also come and learn more about our Blue Influencers and what they are up to!

Whilst we're celebrating Volunteer's Week, we also wanted to highlight that today is Power of Youth Day 2026, spearheaded by The movement!

On Power of Youth day, we want to recognise the way in which our Youth, Sport & Play - Child Dynamix team empower young people to shape decisions, lead change and build stronger communities.

This year's theme for Power of Youth Day is 'Common Ground'. In a world that can feel increasingly polarised, Common Ground is a celebration of what unites us. We're proud to share Common Ground with other organisations that work to amplify young voices and provide opportunities for young people.

Quingo Starlequin, an art piece combining a giant puppet with DJ booth (yes, really - it has to be seen to be believed!), is coming to Hull for the Freedom Festival! Excitingly, they will have a new design thanks to the TIC Hull, Lincolnshire & Yorkshire Blue Influencers, and will be playing new music from Sunflower Music Hull.

You may see Quingo tic or shout unusual things, as he has Tourette's Syndrome and isn't scared to shout about it. They also are not scared to shout about big issues impacting our blue spaces!

Given the success of the Blue Influencers' Clothing Swap events that have been held at The Hut, Child Dynamix's Youth Team, are working with the Child Dynamix Nurseries and Family Hub for one big clothing swap event.

Absolutely everyone is invited to this event held at Child Dynamix's Head Office on Preston Road. So drop-off your donations before the event, and then come down on Friday 19th June 1pm - 3pm to grab yourself something new.
