FC Voices

FC Voices is a group of Hull FC fans who volunteer their time to assist other fans and improve their experience in supporting the club

The group is made up of fans covering all ages, walks of life and both sexes. All of the different Stands in the KC are represented, as are disabled supporters, the ex players association, out of town supporters and travelling fans. There is even a member based in Australia, who the group is assisting in his efforts to start a Hull FC supporters group out there.

Today, the Hull FC family has lost one of its own.

John Kear gave Hull FC supporters memories that will live forever. For many of us, 2005 wasn’t just a Challenge Cup victory – it was belief, pride, and the feeling that anything was possible. John was at the heart of that journey.

But those who met him will remember more than trophies and results. He always had time for people. Whether you’d spoken to him once or a hundred times, he remembered you. He made supporters feel seen, valued and part of the club.

In a sport built on community, John embodied everything that is good about Rugby League. Passionate, humble, approachable and fiercely proud of the game.

Our thoughts are with Dawn, his family, friends and everyone across the Rugby League community who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thank you for the memories, the smiles and the legacy you leave behind.

Rest easy, John.
