Many told their stories in local and national newspapers, and began to realise how wide-spread and common the problems were amongst Gulf Veterans. Responding to this need the N

GVFA was established and set up to run from its base in Kingston Upon Hull. Over subsequent years, as further desert conflicts took place the availability and scope of the charities' services expanded to cover Veterans of Gulf 2 (Iraq 03-09) and Afghanistan (01-Present).

The National Gulf Veterans & Families Association would like to share the fantastic news that we have just been awarded a grant from The Veterans’ Foundation of £18,500.00. The Veterans’ Foundation have been supporting our charity since 2018 and we are extremely grateful that they have decided to support our charity once more.
The Veterans’ Foundation has been set up to help fund charities and other charitable organisations that are helping serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their dependants who are in need. They do this by raising money through the Veterans’ Lottery and donations. If you would like to take part in the Veterans’ Lottery then please follow this link https://www.veteransfoundation.org.uk/lottery/join/ or go to their page https://www.facebook.com/veteransfoundation for more information.
Please share this great news with your family and friends as the more people who know about The Veterans’ Foundation, the work that they do and who they help through the lottery, then the more help and support they can give to veterans and their families like you. Thank you.

We are pleased to share that our grant application has again been successful, and we have been awarded £45,000 from the Army Benevolent Fund.

The ABF is the national charity of the Army, dedicated to supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families throughout their lives. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Trustees and Darren Doherty for their ongoing support.

This is truly excellent news for the NGVFA, as it will enable us to continue delivering the bespoke, vital services to our beneficiaries.
