The UK Safer Internet Centre (UKSIC), established in 2011, is a leading global partnership helping to make the internet a great and safe place for everyone.
We provide support and services to children and young people, adults facing online harms, and professionals working with children.
A bridge between Government, industry, law enforcement, and society, we are the engine of the online protection landscape in the UK, dealing with both prevention and response.
We are unique. Formed of three charities, Childnet, Internet Watch Foundation and SWGfL, we work together to identify threats and harms online and then create and deliver critical advice, resources, education and interventions that help keep children and young people, and adults, safe. We share our best practices across the UK and globally.
We focus our work around four functions:
An awareness centre:
Where we provide advice and support to children and young people, parents and carers, schools, and the children’s workforce.
Three helplines:
Which provide support to professionals working with children and young people with online safety issues, and support to all adults facing issues with harmful content and non-consensual intimate imagery online.
A hotline:
Which provides an anonymous and safe place to report and remove online child sexual abuse images and videos wherever they are found in the world.
A voice to young people:
We operate a Youth Advisory Board, and we nurture youth participation, providing a focus on youth voice to give young people agency to make a difference in their school communities

If you are a member Armed Forces Community. who has experienced a stroke or brain injury BOWRA Foundation is able to provide BOWRA Bags to people. This is thanks to dedicated BFBS funding,
BOWRA Bags are designed to support wellbeing, rehabilitation and recovery, offering practical resources, comfort items and information to help survivors on their journey.
Anyone living with the effects of a stroke or brain injury can apply for a BOWRA Bag, and thanks to this funding, we're able to reach even more people within the Armed Forces community.
If you are someone who has experienced a stroke or brain injury, or you know someone who could benefit, we would love to hear from you.

It is with great sadness that we have been informed of the passing of Robert Duffy he was a Gulf 1 veteran
We send our sincere condolences to his family.
Gone but never forgotten.
"They shall not grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
We will remember them".

STEP INSIDE NORMANDY BARRACKS: BEVERLEY ARMED FORCES DAY RETURNS ON 4TH JULY
The Defence School of Transport is delighted to announce that Beverley Armed Forces Day 2026 will take place on Saturday 4th July at Normandy Barracks, offering the local community a rare and unique opportunity to step inside an active military base and celebrate those who serve.
This year's event promises something truly special. For one day only, the gates of Normandy Barracks will open to welcome residents from Beverley and across the region to experience Armed Forces Day in the heart of where our military community lives and works.
Visitors can look forward to a packed programme of entertainment, including strongman and strongwoman competitions, a display of military and classic vehicles, live music and a wide selection of food. Whether you're a long-standing supporter of the Armed Forces or simply looking for a memorable day out, this event has something for everyone.
The event is being held in partnership with SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, as part of the national Armed Forces Day programme. It is free to attend and open to all.
