Well. I’m not going to do a massive in your face post. But today. This one is about quite simply some of the best football I have ever seen played as part of the charity league.

Today was the final : Fishers AFC v AFC Jones

Now for those of you who know these 2 sides, you will be well aware there has been absolutely zero love loss when ever we have played, and there have been many people talk one way or another about these teams, but more so about us!

Going into today, it was one heck of a game to bring the curtains down on the charity league season.

If you managed to see it today, I’m sure you will agree that it was probably the best one of the entire season for both teams. And these games are , and have been anything other than “casual affairs”.

Well today, I think critics were proven wrong!!!!

Jones knew what they had to do and for 75 minutes…they were doing it.

Pulled back to a 3-3 draw. Into ET. We were on top, Jones came back !

Onto penalties.

A game which has all hallmarks of a true classic.

Not one card shown!!
Class football

Determination
Grit

Atmosphere to simply add to it all.

But we did it!!!! 5-4 victors in penalties.

We were in the very first final all those years ago and failed to secure the trophy. We have been in the very last one today and done it!!!!

It’s not been without turmoil , ups and downs, headache but we have won the last ever Hull Charity league final!

All the credit goes to those players who went out there today. Those are the heroes. Those are the boys who brought it home today.

For us, we now move on to a new venture , keeping football alive. Still plenty to do. But now….summer break. And boy do our lads deserve it.

Fishers AFC stormed into the One Punch Hull Charity League Final today after an action‑packed 6‑goal thriller at the Allam Sport Centre.

A ruthless Ellis Clayton hat‑trick, a sharp brace from Jensen Tuttle, and a composed finish from Harry Price sealed the victory and booked their place at the Roy West Centre on May 31st.
But the scoreline wasn’t the only thing turning heads…

👀 SPYGATE 3.0 — THE SAGA NO ONE SAW COMING

Finalists AFC Jones were spotted sending their own delegates to the semi‑final — a bold move that’s already being dubbed SPYGATE 3.0.

After a brilliant semi final today, focus now turns to the One Punch Hull Charity League final in 2 weeks time.

Fishers AFC vs AFC Jones in what is set to be a high octane final 90 minutes of this season. Bringing to a close this years Charity League Season.

Will it be 3rd time lucky for Fishers AFC or will AFC Jones find salvage in the fact they have rested as the play offs have taken place.

Either way. The gloves will be off I’m sure as this game is set to be one packed with some great football.

We are looking for sponsors for the final , anything you can give will be added to the final tally of fundraising for the season.

Sunday 31st May…..definitely one for your diary. 🥊

Al the game will be recorded as so we can bring you any highlights , also helps protect our players , not that they need it of course…be pretty hard to make up stories with FA officials at the game 👀
