The Reuse Shop - Killin

The Reuse Shop - Killin The Reuse Shop is a community run thrift shop. This a Killin and Ardeonaig Development Trust project. Currently cash only - card machine coming soon!

It is a Killin and Ardeonaig Development Trust (KAT) project and proceeds support other projects such as the Old Mill, and RecyKillin, which also offers a Tool Library and Community Fridge. As we rely on volunteers, opening hours are subject to change. Cash is available at the Post Office on Main Street and the Co-op on Lyon Road. Accessibility:
There is a fixed wheelchair ramp at the entrance to

the shop. There is a threshold in the doorway (2cm) but it is a smooth bump and can be navigated in a manual wheelchair. The shop is small but rails are placed so wheelchair users and users of small mobility scooters can get around. Some shelves are above seated height but staff are always on hand to provide assistance. Covid-19 information:
To protect our volunteers, we ask that customers wear a mask (unless exempt) and use the sanitiser provided.

Lots of you have been having a turn out over the Easter weekend - which means coming soon will be shelves full of lots of new stock! Please bear with us while we process all the donations and apologies, but we are going to have to close donations for a couple of days as its a bit like a gerbil's cheeks in the stock room at the moment! I'll post here when we are able to take donations again, but expect it to be Friday. Many thanks and gratitude for all the donations and your understanding.

Does anybody recognise this handsome wee chap? This photo, dated 1935, was found inside a book that had been donated and we wondered if the person realised there was a photo inside.

We are now able to take donations again - thanks for bearing with us. We are always grateful for donations but can I please remind people of the two bag/box per drop-off limit. This helps our volunteers keep on top of the volume that comes through the door - making sure that we can sort it, iron/ clean it if needs be, price and store it all, while keeping the stock room a tidy and safe place for people to work.

Also a reminder of our opening hours: We are closed Sundays and Mondays, and open noon to 4pm Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 11am to 4pm on Wednesdays.

We are having a little bit of a spring clean over the next couple of days and so we can't take donations at the moment. Apologies - but we have to keep the stock room safe for our volunteers so please bear with us for a few days. If you want to be contacted personally for an update, please contact the manager on [email protected] or call the shop on 01567230041. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
