What a week it’s been!

5 days, 5 different venues and 5 different sports activities

We’ve had so much fun, met new people, reacquainted with old friends, learnt new sporting skills and most of all had lots of fun.

Thank you to all the venues, event staff and organisers for all their hard work. See you all same time next year 🤞

Jackie Bennett

It has been brought to our attention that former Odell Centre Office Manager Jackie Bennett has sadly passed away.

Jackie worked for the Odell Centre for over 10 years until she retired at Christmas 2017.

Jackie was a lovely person, so kind and gentle and she had a lovely way with our members.

Our thoughts go out to her family.

What a fantastic start to Learning Disability Week Sports Festival at Ryland Centre, Bromsgrove.

Thank you to all of took part, supported and organised today.

Don't forget tomorrow we are at Wyre Forest Leisure Centre from 12pm - 3pm for more sporting activities and lots of fun.

We would like to say Thank You to all the carers who follow us for the wonderful job you do.

Today our members made afternoon tea for their carers/parents as a show of their appreciation for all the hard work that they do for them.

The afternoon was finished the carers being given some Odell homemade fudge and then our wonderful choir singing and signing.

What a fantastic afternoon we had at Aztec Adventure yesterday.

While waiting for a thunderstorm to pass we were given a puzzle to solve. The old brain cogs were definitely put to the test!

We then went onto the katakunus for a paddle around the lake with a couple of ball games in the middle of the lake.

It was then time for making our own raft.
