2857 Shop - Big Summer Sale 💰

With today being the longest day of the year we are launching our Big Summer Sale on our online shop! We’ve marked several items down in price, all of which are on limited stock quantity.

We will be changing our clothing style and branding in 2027, so these items are now limited to whatever stock we have remaining.

‘Funding the Future’ - It’s time to look ahead, and protect the 2857 Society for years to come! 🚂

Now that we have completed our Overhaul Appeal, we have now been able to launch our ‘Funding the Future’ appeal. This appeal aims to raise at least £75,000 to secure the future of the Society, giving us a backup ammount for the overhaul, and to ensure that when we come out of the overhaul we have finances available to keep the Society on a good footing.

This appeal is absolutely vital to ensure the continued success of the Society, and the continued running of 2857. Please give it your support! ❤️

You’ve waited patiently for the news…..And we are very happy to tell you that we have successfully raised £100,000 and completed our overhaul appeal! ❤️ This means we now have raised the amount quoted by Riley & Son for the overhaul! A huge thankyou to everyone who has helped us get here 😃

And now, Phase 2 begins on May 1st! ‘Our Funding the Future’ appeal will aim to raise at least £75,000 in order to give us a back up amount for unexpected costs which will naturally arise during the overhaul, and to ensure the Society continues to operate for many years to come 🚂

A RECORD BREAKING GALA! Were very pleased to say that we broke all our previous records with the Sales Stand this weekend as we raised an incredible £5,550! A big thankyou to all those who purchased something, donated stock to sell, and took interest in how progress on 2857 was going.

Kidderminster Station is the place to be if you want to come and spend your cash with 2857!

We’ve raised over £3000 for the first two days of the event, and we are hoping to continue that push over the next two days 🚂 All money raised is going directly to the overhaul of 2857 👌🏼

We had an excellent day 1 yesterday at the SVR Spring Gala, and our Sales Stand is ready to go again for Day 2. Plenty of model railway items to buy, along with a huge sale on books, and our new range of greetings cards.

SVR Spring Steam Gala Sales Stand 🚂

We will have our sales stand at the SVR Gala from 16-19 April, at Kidderminster station. We should be open from around 0830 to 1730 everyday. We’ve got stacks of model railway items, hundreds of new books, some Railwayana, and all the usual branded 2857 items in stock!

Please come down and give us some support. Every £1 spent if making a huge difference to us, and we may even have some very big news to tell you all on Monday 20th April, if we have a succesful sales stand 👌🏼
