We have received the following email. Please comment below if you would like more info.

I hope this email finds you well. I emailed earlier this month to let you know about an opportunity for heart patients to get involved with decisions around how their health data is used in research.

Would anyone in your team be interested in joining our webinar session on 31st March to find out more about how the PIONEER Hub could work more closely with charities and beneficiaries to ensure patient voice is heard?
Do let me know if you would like any further information.

Many thanks

The British Heart Foundation have sent us this email:

As you may know we have been running a series of monthly online events to keep you updated with our latest research news, and we are very excited to announce this month’s Live and Ticking event will take place on Wednesday 24 February, 4-5pm and will be all about Takotsubo cardiomyopathy.

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is a condition where the heart muscle becomes suddenly weakened. It causes the left ventricle of the heart to change shape and get larger, meaning it doesn't pump blood as well as it should.

Join us to hear from Professor Dana Dawson at the University of Aberdeen about her life-long commitment and BHF-funded research into understanding this unusual condition.

Former ballerina, Caron Curragh, will also share her phenomenal story of Takotsubo, her recovery journey and how she has connected with a wide community of people with the disease.

To register and submit your questions, please visit bhf.org.uk/publicevents

If you have missed any of the previous events you can watch them online at any time here.
