Community apple pressing day at Springs Road Flood Basin on Sunday 27th September. Drop in any time between 10am and 4pm. All clean and unrotten apples welcome! Please bring a clean container to take your juice away. Ask a friend to pick your apples if you don’t want them or find an unloved apple tree to harvest if you haven’t got your own. Please don’t bring a truckload as we only have a manual press.

🪏 On Wednesday 5th and Saturday 8th August, we will be removing Himalayan Balsam in Fitz Park, in conjunction with the West Cumbria Rivers Trust. Sessions are on Wednesday 12.30 to 14.30 and Saturday 10.00 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 15.00. Join us for one or all of the sessions. No experience needed. Want to know more about community car clubs? There is a webinar on Thursday 6th August at 7pm about a new project which aims to support communities to launch their own car clubs. We're lucky enough to have a car club already in Keswick but we're hoping to expand with the support of this project.
