WHATSAPP SCAM

Recently a number of users have received phone calls from someone posing as an employee of Highfield Centre and will ask you to forward them a code, this grants them control of your WhatsApp account. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CODE.

We never give out phone numbers or personal details to third parties. However, like emails, Facebook, instagram etc it can be hacked.

How to Stay Safe:
Never share codes: Do not share WhatsApp verification codes or PINs with anyone.
Verify the source: Call the person on a trusted, previously saved number to confirm their identity.
Watch for red flags: Be skeptical of unsolicited messages from unknown numbers, messages requesting money, or links to external websites.
Use security features: Enable two-step verification in your WhatsApp settings.

What to Do If Targeted:
Report and Block: Tap and hold the message, then select "Report".
Action Fraud: If you have been targeted or lost money, you can report it to Action Fraud.For more information, consult official guidelines from the WhatsApp Help Center.

Please don’t answer a call unless you recognise the number, if it is important they will leave a message. Remember, never give out any codes sent to your phone, or personal details.

The diamond group enjoyed making delicious meaty smash burgers for their session. The boys wanted home made chips to accompany the smash burgers. We had great feedback from parents who rang in to say they were some of the best burgers they had. Well done to the boys for their choice of food and for making it so well 🍔
